It may well be because we were rushing to catch the boat to Skellig Michael, but the Ring of Kerry wasn't quite as spectacular as we might have expected. Skellig Michael on the other hand, was one of our top two or three places in Ireland. Spectacular, beautiful, rugged, historical, thought provoking, and monster climb are just a few of the words it inspires. If you can tolerate a rock and roll boat trip it is a DONT MISS item.
