Seattle Stop 2015

On our way to our daughter Rachel’s wedding, we stopped in Seattle to visit long time,  dear friend, Jim Carlson.  We wandered Pike’s Place waiting for Jim to get out of work then on to the Dahlia lounge for a nice dinner.

Snoqualmie

I remembered Snoqualmie pass from travels as a kid, so we decided to head up to Snoqualmie falls the next day.Snoqualmie Falls  It was the first rainy day in a couple of months, so it was welcome drought relief, but not so great for photos.  We used the rain as an excuse to check out the Snoqualmie Brewery.  Excellent beer.  Note:  the small nachos are actually very large.

Low Key

Saturday was low key .  Walked along the Puget sound.  If you are ever in Seattle,  Eat at Joe’s is a great local place for dinner.  Not as down home as it sounds and really fabulous upscale food.

On the rainy day, we managed one of our best selfies ever.  We are old school and use a tripod and timer.  Next day off to Oregon.
